Because
the Washington International Trade Foundation
is a 501c3 charitable non-profit educational
organization, your organization's donation to
WITF is tax deductible. WITF's Federal Tax ID #
is available upon request--please call
202-312-1600. WITF supports the educational
activities of its sister organization,
WITA.
Incorporated in 1996, the Foundation has a separate WITF Board of Directors and separate budget, but shares office space and equipment with WITA.
The Foundation is most active during the preparations and hosting of the Annual Dinner, which it co-sponsors with WITA. The Annual Dinner is the capstone event of both organizations. Held each July, the Annual Dinner is Washington's most important trade event.
If you organization has extra/outdated/depreciated equipment, don't just chuck it in the trash! A donation to WITF will take the peice off your hands, allow you a tax deduction, and support the educational activities of WITA. It might not be as sexy as a disease or children's charity, but consider: WITA is one of the few non-profits in DC that is truly neutral, actually brings both sides of the aisle together, and educates a whole community of professionals. WITA and WITF also recognize annually those among us who make the biggest impact on world trade. Doesn't that seem like the type of organization you'd like to support?

- small photocopier
- programmable fax machine
- scanner
- business card scanner
- coffee maker
- and of course, cash or in-kind donations to support WITA's educational programming and website development
Has your organzation
changed address, or added a new partner to the
firm's name? Consider donating your old office
supplies to WITF. Durables such as pens, paper,
mailing labels, nametags/holders, calculators,
staplers, and tape dispensers are an easy way
to support WITF.
