Series Kickoff! AUSTR for Policy Coordination Carmen SURO-BREDIE will give an overview of US Government agencies involved in international trade policy matters, the responsibilities of each, and how USTR coordinates it all. She will delve into the negotiation cycles of FTAs and touch on ITACs, Congressional Committees of jurisdiction and consultation, and other important nuts and bolts of how trade policy is REALLY made! This event is a must-attend for anyone new the the DC trade policy scene!

The WITA 2010 Professional Development Series (PDS.2010) gives an overview of how the US Government's trade functions are organized, and how trade professional can best understand and utilize them.
