• APEC Secretariat
  The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was established in 1989 in response to the growing interdependence among Asia-Pacific economies. Begun as an informal dialogue group, APEC has since become the primary regional vehicle for promoting open trade and practical economic cooperation. Its goal is to advance Asia-Pacific economic dynamism and sense of community.
• The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)
  The OECD provides a forum for govenments of the industrialized democracies to study and formulate the best policies possible in all economic and social spheres. The OECD home page includes information concerning OECD activities, upcoming events, and publications and news.
• The World Bank Group
  The World Bank Group comprises five organizations: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), the International Development Association (IDA, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), and the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). The World Bank home page provides information on World Bank activities and programs, and serves as a link to the web sites of World Bank Group agencies and other multilateral development banks.

• United Nations Conference on Trade and Development
  Established in 1964 as a permanent intergovernmental body, UNCTAD is the principal organ of the United Nations General Assembly in the field of trade and development. Main goals are to maximize the trade, investment and development opportunities of developing countries, and to help them face challenges arising from globalization and integrate into the world economy, on an equitable basis.
• United Nations Development Business
  UN Development Business is an official publication of the Outreach Division of the Dept. of Public Information of the United Nations. The publication specializes in the dissemination of information on projects in the developing countries and economies in transition, funded by numerous multilateral banks, including the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. The information we publish includes procurement notices, monthly operational summaries, approved projects, contract awards, etc. In 2005, our subscribers received information on more than 30 billion USD business opportunities. UN Development Business is available by subscription and it has more than 5000 subscribers worldwide.

  This WTO site in the World Wide Web is an effort to make clear the essentials of the new Organization. The WTO is relatively young, yet its impact on the lives of businessmen, inventors, consumers, farmers, scientists, creative artists and workers in all endeavors, is already evident.
