House Democrats Fixated On Enforcement In New NAFTA; Republicans Don’t Seem To Care

To hear Republicans talk about the new NAFTA, named USMCA, you’d think it would cure cancer, stop global warming and bring peace to the world for all eternity – if only those obstinate Democrats would bring it to a vote.

If they don’t, “it will be a catastrophe across the country,” U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said in testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said in a Fox News interview Monday that “they’re saying 200,000 jobs” would result from USMCA ratification. Who exactly was saying that he didn’t say.
