UK trade secretary Liam Fox under pressure over Saudi conference

Pressure is mounting on UK Trade minister Liam Fox to clarify whether or not he will attend to the Saudi conference known as Davos in the desert. Several international leaders, including the head of the global lender of last resort, Christine Lagarde, have withdrawn from the event amid questions over the Kingdom’s involvement in the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi after he attended the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul.
