The magazine says of WITA that "Professionals, Diplomats, and anyone else interested in trade policy can join" and calls WITA " the premier trade association in the area." WITA was one of just 2 organizations named in the International Circles category... and there is only 1 trade-focused association named in the entire list" WITA.

SME Matchmaking Trade Mission to China: May 25 - June 10, 2008
The Northeast's largest international entrepreneur group, MeetChinaBiz is organizing its 12th SME (small and mid-size enterprises) trade mission to China with extensive pre-trip matchmaking efforts. From May 25-June 10 the delegation will visit top-tier cities like Shanghai and Beijing, and also other important cities such as Changzhou, Cixi, Ningbo, Wuxi, and Xi’an.
Amply subsidized by local hosts, the MeetChinaBiz trade missions have proven to be economical yet effective channels for US SMEs to quickly tap into China, since they usually lack the financial resources to do so by themselves. These trade missions are backed by extensive pre-trip matchmaking efforts, and delegations will meet with a vast number of business and government leaders. Delegations will also have the opportunity to visit some of China's best-run manufacturing plants, industry and trade zones, as well as individual companies for potential partnerships.
